U.S. Payments Forum members represent a cross-section of the U.S. payments industry, including merchants, issuers, acquirers/processors, global and domestic payment networks, industry suppliers, consultants and industry associations. Forum initiatives benefit from the diverse perspectives and experience that members bring to each project.
Members lead and contribute to the seven Forum working committees – ATM, Card-Not-Present Fraud, Communications and Education, Mobile and Contactless Payments, Petroleum, Testing and Certification and Transit Contactless Open Payments. Over 78 percent of member organizations participate in at least one working committee.
Plus, the Forum’s 24-member Steering Committee reflects the cross-industry nature of Forum membership and provides oversight and guidance for the working committees and identifies critical new areas, plans meeting agendas, and leads projects of its own.
With such strong member engagement, the Forum continues to deliver high quality resources that reflect cross-industry input from U.S. payments stakeholders.
